WHAT’S A LITTLE WIND??? NOT STOPPING US!!!

Hello to all… Thursday’s walking route will be dry but a bit windy… mild little puff of east gust wind… known to puff up to 40 MPH’s though they have not given an estimate of the potential puffs, I am sure with a stocking cap to cover your ears, this will prove to be a good dry 5 mile walk…

IF YOU HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED DIVISION STREET – YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE MISSING…

We are meeting at D Street Village – located at 3050 SE Division ST in the lobby, that does not mean, walk down to the Imperial Tap room and pour a beer before you join us, that is after… the walk will take us to Clinton, up to 52nd, over to Powell, down to 26th, back up to Clinton up to 30th back to D Street, about 5 miles, good sidewalks to avoid car since it will be dark…  We are planning 5 to 7 mile walks through end of February – the next two weeks our walks are weeknights due to hectic weekend schedules, but will resume  back to Sunday’s starting on on the 25th…

NO TIME LIKE THE NIGHT TIME SISTER…

I am excited to be taking this Journey with the super retro funky urbanite, Lisa… who never ceases to crack me up…  I can only imagine by month 3 the interesting things I will learn about her.. her past life in LA is extremely interesting and makes these walks go quite quickly… One thing I have learned, she does not walk with out her water proof mascara and awesome lipstick, while I can barely find time to comb my hair, she looks marvelous!!!

HOW CAN I COMPETE??? ALL THE SQUIRRELS AND CUTE PUPPIES IGNORE ME AND GO STRAIGHT TO LISA…

We walk at a mild brisk pace and I am always slowing us down to take photos not only for this blog, but because photography and writing are two of my hobbies… plus it’s fun to see the look on Lisa’s face when I stop and want to take a photo of something obscure, which, I don’t know why she looks at me that way, she once asked me to look for big dead bugs for her so that she could use them in her photo stylist business… see I have learned all kinds of things about her in such a short time…

I REFUSED TO LET HER TAKE THIS HOME…

We look forward to your support and encourage you to join us on our walks, if you like to sign up for text messages and emails for upcoming walk reminders, email me at robinweirich@gmail.com
